White/ Bechamel Sauce



2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
3 cup milk
1 clove garlic minced


Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat
Saute garlic in it for about a minute
Stir in flour and cook for about 2 minutes. Do not brown. 
Gradually stir in milk (one cup at a time) and continue cooking over low heat, stirring constantly, until sauce begins to thicken. 
Season with salt and pepper.

Add 1lb (450g) of  pasta boiled, Parmesan cheese and oregano for a Fettuccine Alfredo variant of 3 people!
